The Dr Maria João has a degree in Clinical Psychology and a Master's in Educational Psychology from the University of the Algarve, with training in Psychological Assessment and Intervention with Children and Young People, and also in Intervention with Children and Young People at Risk.
She has completed various training courses and is interested in areas such as 3rd generation CC therapies, psychosomatics, victim support techniques, emotional release techniques, clinical hypnosis and regression, hypnotherapy for children and adolescents, relaxation and meditation for children and mindfulness.
She has extensive professional experience in psychological intervention with children and young people.
She studies Trauma Therapy, is a Reiki Master and has completed various training courses in complementary therapies, working with energy techniques such as Psionic Therapy, Vibrational Environment Therapy, Crystal Therapy, Quantum Therapy, Apometry, among others.
